已经离开厄瓜多尔两个月了，但好像已经离开很久了似的。每次看回当时所拍的照片，就很想再回去一趟。

Scala and Kolacny Brothers

First heard about the choir when their remake of Radiohead's 'Creep' was played in the trailer of The Social Network. I was right away being attracted by the remake and went searching for them in Youtube - which ended up watching their videos for more than an hour! Check them out - they are simply amazing!!!

Also their remake of Coldplay's Viva La Vida gave me goose bumps!

Ecuador

Mum was calling this morning if I could leave Ecuador as soon as possible since it seems politically unstable after the attack of the president last week. The military are doing the police job now but I saw from the news that the police are going back to work on the streets now. The streets seem normal and everyone carries out their daily activities as usual. I told mum not to be worried, but I havent told her that I have decided to stay until January...

Counting down the days to leave Ecuador...really feel like staying for another three months... I wonder if my previous life was livng in South America...

One and a half months more. Shall I stay longer? To work in the Amazon seems like an interesting experience...

This is my fourth week in Ecuador, another two months to go. I am surprised that I have got used to this country in less than a month. I kind of feel more comfortable here than when I was in Malaysia. What´s wrong with me?

纽约。纽约（六）

六月尾纽约同志游行时拍的一些照片。虽然当天气温高的差不多九十度，但仍无阻大家的兴致，一起聚集在第五大道观赏这一年一度最花枝招展的游行。

当天纽约市里的异服者都倾巢而出，这一张portrait是自己最喜欢的其中一张。

这上围超惊人的舞后（Dancing Queen）成了我Flickr户口这两个星期内点击量最高的照片。

当看到这身打扮和用马来文书写的布条时还以为马来西亚有派代表来游行，看清楚后原来是来自印尼的代表。

巴西的代表。

当天类似Lady Gaga般的打扮无处不在 （这仁兄样子还真有点象叻）。

勇敢的消防员叔叔们。站在我一旁的黑人阿姨半开玩笑的跟跟她那差不多十岁的儿子说:“你说以后长大要做消防员，Hell No!"

摆起这种回眸一笑风情万种的姿势他可不输真女人喔！

感觉他弯下身这动作蛮优雅大方的，很多真女人都未必做得到。

游行完毕后在Chelsea街上拍的candid。现在在纽约里看到同志们牵手上街已是越来越普遍的事情。

这‘小姐’友情客串帮忙警察指挥交通，最后竟然敢敢跳上一辆路过的敞篷跑车，吓了那司机一跳。

在一起十四年了的Wonderwoman和Supergirl希望可以结婚。

有点象KFC的Sanders上校和Mrs. Doubtfire的混合体。

纽约。纽约（五）

前两天来自不同背景的纽约客和游客们在Midtown游行谴责以色列攻击加萨救援船队的行为。虽然游行是很有规律地进行，但还是出动了许多警员以维持次序以防万一。除了反以色列的大队，现场也看到两名白人妇女手持支持以色列的布条，但竟然没引起任何人的注意，可惜我来不及拍下他们的照片。游行队伍中中东裔居多，也有犹太人参与，反而亚洲人没几个。记得当时一名路过的白人男子突然对着游行队伍大骂‘你们这些人还配当美国人吗？还敢敢拿着美国国祺呢！’不过队伍中也没人管他，他也就自讨没趣地离开了。

总觉得每个行人的眼中（除了最后一位），都流露出不自觉的焦虑和迷茫。

这些照片是在ICP上的街头摄影课程里的其中一项功课，主要是引用摄影师Philip-Lorca Dicorcia在他著作"Heads"里的概念，在街上拍摄行人们在不察觉的情形下的portrait。拍摄日期是汽车炸弹事件后的几天，路过时代广场的行人们都不免带有一丝地不安和忧虑。
